Your Role

Managing and execution of accounting operations, partnering with functions to manage profitability and cashflow while delivering services related to Order to Cash and Purchase to Pay.

Your Key Tasks

Accounting Operations & Partnering:

  • Operationalize the Order to Cash (OtC), Purchase to Pay (PtP) and Record to Report (RtR) activities to enable process efficiencies and value creation.
  • Partner the Customer Development and Supply Chain teams to ensure customer satisfaction, profitability and cashflow delivery for the Tea business.
     

Service Delivery

  • OtC – owns the in market OtC processes, escalation point for the team and direct interface for key and strategic customers.
  • PtP – owns the in market PtP processes, escalation point for the team and liaison with the 3PSPs.
     

Order To Cash

  • Establish the working relationship and act as FPOC between the 3PSP and in-market roles to ensure a seamless OTC process.
  • Own the local OtC policies, service catalogue and customer segmentation strategy.
  • Manage exceptions and customer requests relating to Claims and Bill to Cash activities.
  • Manage set up of new customers and customer data changes.
  • Execute customer facing and collaboration activities as defined by the business.
  • Control and execute credit management and collection activities in collaboration with the 3PSP.
  • Control and execute customer pricing on and off invoice.

  • Shared Services for RtR, PtP and OtC
  • Third Party Service Providers for Controls, Audit and Tax

  • Unilever Finance Team (during transitional service agreement period)
  • Unilever Customer Excellence Team
  • Unilever Customer Service Team
     

Internal – Tea Company

  • Sri Lanka Head of Finance
  • Sri Lanka Finance team
  • Sri Lanka CD and Supply Chain teams
     

Who we are looking for

Educational Background/Work History

  • Candidate should possess a degree and/or professional qualification in Accounting and Finance
  • 5-7 years’ work experience in Accounting and Finance functions
  • Experience in FMCG business operations in an internationally operating company
  • Functional leadership and team management experience
  • Experience in working with third party service providers
     

Professional Knowledge/Skill Requirements

  • High financial acumen (including local statutory guidelines)
  • Strong analytical capabilities
