Job Responsibilities
Be in charge of the overall finance function, focusing on the operational and finance aspects of the company.
Establish financial control in accordance with best practices and develop and implement organizational financial goals.
Monitor and prepare monthly financial statements 'reports, budgets, cash flows, daily liquidity position and mange funds & expenses, to minimize the finance costs of the company
Establish and manage the annual budgeting process and present the same to the board.
Develop and monitor policies and procedures within generally accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines
Assess monthly operating reports for accuracy, completeness and variances analysis between the actual and budget
Review debt collections, attend debtors' meeting, recovery of current and overdue debts with a proper follow-up procedure
Evaluate inventory aging periodically, carry out physical verifications and formulate strategies to minimize the holding cost
Carry out the annual statutory audit, liaise with tax authorities and other regulatory authorities, while being statutorily compliance.
Supervise, guide and motivate the finance team.
Required Competencies
Fully or partly qualification from a professional body of accountants / a degree in accountancy or related field from a recognized university.
Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant managerial experience in handling a full set of accounts and statutory submissions. Having a good knowledge and practical experience of VAT/Corporate tax and other corporate taxes management.
Be a well experienced candidate preferably between 30 or 45 years of age.
Carry strong analytical, planning & organizational skills and demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and Written
Have the ability to maintain sound relations with internal and external stakeholders.
