Senior Accountant/ Finance Manager (Heritance Ahungalla)
We are searching for an individual who possesses a Bachelor of Commerce qualification and a membership in CA or CIMA A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar capacity in the Hospitality sector will be an added advantage. Excellent presentation, supervisory, communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in English (oral and mitten), high attention to detail and ability to work within a team are key competencies sought. Hands on experience in Opera, Oracle Accounting system and Microsoft Office package is a must.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Assuming responsibility for accuracy, timeliness and completeness of books of accounts of the hotel
- Compiling, consolidating and summarizing budget information for submission to the management including departmental budgets
- Preparing monthly management accounts, quarterly financial statements, annual budgets, monthly ledger reconciliation and analysis
- Preparing monthly statutory payments and reports
- Monitoring cash control on a daily basis and ensuring daily cash collection and deposits
- Coordinating with external auditors for timely completion of audits
- Assuming responsibility for timely and accurate reporting of all financial data and reports required by the management
- Ensuring that the daily credit card accounts are reconciled
