Executive - Sustainability
The ideal candidate should have completed a degree or equivalent qualification in sustainability or any other related field from a reputed institute. A minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar capacity is essential for this role. Good understanding of sustainable development concepts and trends, knowledge of EMS and OHS audit processes, good command of English (fluency in Sinhala & Tamil wül be an advantage), project management capabüity, report writing and researching skills, abüity to work within a team are key competencies sought.
Main duties and responsibilities include and are not limited to:
• Coordinating and following up with members of the sustainabüity team on action areas
• Organizing routine meetings for the Group's sustainabüity team, sectoral teams and other teams
• Researching and providing constructive feedback to the Management on sustainability for strategic decision making
• Conducting EMS, OHS and general sustainabflity audits/inspections at subsidiaries
• Monitoring and maintaining data records on the subsidiary level systems implementation
