Scope
The Executive - Product Development is responsible for overseeing bulk feasible and cost-effective new wash / dye developments. This includes speeding development programs / seasonal wash developments, sample T&A and cost achievement, customer approvals, shade ranges development, bulk handover, etc. Also responsible for the assigned operational responsibilities including achievement of production targets for the concerned section, implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and bulk chemical procurement processes, etc.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all developments in the Research and Development section (R&D)
- Execute planning and deployment of the Washing Product Development and operational objectives
- Analyze and communicate technical concerns related to sample developments in order to meet customer expectations and quality parameters and avoid issues in bulk stage
- Maintain all testing related data and reports according to the customer specifications and protocols in the sample section
- Conduct new chemical trials.
- Responsible for the internal R&D lab (Facilitate PH / Crocking/ Home laundering)
- Lead Special chemical projects
Qualifications
- Bachelors’ Degree in Chemistry/ Textile Engineering/ Clothing Technology
- 1 to 2+ years of relevant experience in the washing function with strong knowledge of development, planning, QA & technical processes
