Executive Planning (Horana) - MAS Bodyline
We seek to attract a result oriented professional capable of timely decision making and ability to work with a diverse team.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to plan and initiate the production process by allocating orders to relevant value streams ensuring availability of sufficient work to maintain required efficiency and work in progress levels, whilst ensuring that the organizational objectives and the customer deliveries are met accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
•Prepare the sewing loading plan in consultation with relevant authorities
•Confirm garment deliveries for orders planned within the Value Stream at the initial stage with Production Start Date's (PSD's) for material procurement and calculate deliveries as and when required
•Preparation of the Critical Path schedule based on the finalized loading plan of the Value Stream in consultation with internal teams in the Value Chain
•Preparation of the detail plan on weekly basis to support the Production Control Unit (PCU) process for better Raw Material handling
•Conduct the weekly Value Stream Planning Meeting and ensure that input, output and WIP issues are addressed and targets met in order to fulfil customer delivery dates
Schedule the weekly frozen plan in order to activate support departments to fulfil the line feeding requirements and
update/ generate relevant reports accordingly
•Participate in daily operations' meeting with all the relevant parties and ensure a smooth flow of material in order to fulfil cutting/ sewing capacity and deliveries by resolving all roadblocks in the line input
Qualifications and Experience:
• Should be a graduate in Physical Science or NDT/ Engineering graduate with at least one year industrial experience
•Working knowledge in Fast React, SAP System, Advance Excel and Microsoft Office will be an advantage
