Aitken Spence Hotels is a premier hospitality company with 21 hotels and resorts in Sri Lanka, Maldives, India and Oman. We are on the lookout for a creative individual with a penchant for content creation.
The ideal candidate should be a seasoned chef possessing a Degree/Diploma from a reputed hotel school with a minimum three-years experience in a similar capacity at a five-star hotel/resort. Sound knowledge HACCP/ISO 22000, excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail, ability to work within a team and ability to work independently are key attributes and competencies sought.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing menus in line with F&B objectives and cater to the dining requirements of the guests
- Preparing annual departmental operational budget and capital expenditure budget
- Ensuring quality in the preparation and presentation of food products
- Monitoring guest satisfaction through guest comments and reviews
- Ensuring high standard of food hygiene, kitchen hygiene and staff hygiene while adhering to all health & safety standards
- Ensuring proper storage of raw and processed food items
