Job Profile
The position is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient execution of the regional marketing activities to build brands and assist sales team in building business. The candidate will act as the regional marketing support for the sales team. This role will also be responsible for executing and providing strategic BTL planning inputs to maximize share and achieve position of high visibility in the region.
 

  • Executing trade and Below the Line (BTL) marketing activities in the designated area to achieve defined business objectives.
  • Work closely with Sales team to ensure trade marketing and BTL activities are aligned with marketing objectives and Sales revenue targets.
  • Coordinating brand communication for BTL activations for products align with corporate brand strategy.
  • Provide support for proper development execution and bench – marking of all trade & BTL programs designed to increase Brand Visibility, Top of Mind Awareness, and Recall for the Brands.
  • Execution of Trade Marketing initiatives to ensure proper strategy is in place to meet both brand and customer expectation.
  • Implementing BTL Marketing plans for augmenting the business volume by enhancing brand visibility, Top of Mind Awareness and Recall.
  • Identifying and ensuring that BTL activity (Outlet branding, Glow and normal sign boards in store promotions, POSMs, etc.) are done as per defined requirement.
  • Following up with BTL POSM vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of outlet branding tools and materials.
  • Share monthly and rolling execution plan forecast within acceptable limits of variance and deliver on those plans.
  • Support corporate visibility programs across channel and geographies thru regular follow ups and incentives.
  • Interacting with Internal and External stakeholders to ensure proper execution of Trade and BTL activities.

 
Personal Profile

  • Candidate should possess GCE A/L with partial Degree or Professional Qualification through a reputed institution, specializing Sales & Marketing.
  • Minimum 02 to 03 years of experience in beverage or FMCG industry at the roles of Channel / Trade / BTL Marketing.
  • Sound IT Literacy.
  • Strong capability in coordinating and negotiating with BTL marketing material suppliers.
  • Effective decision making and analytical skills.
  • Age between 20 – 30.
  • Energetic, versatile and a creative problem-solver.
  • Talented, Flexible individual with ability to multitask, to exercise initiative, and work effectively under pressure, paying strong attention to detail
  • Effective communications, presentation, interpersonal and customer relations skills.
  • Ability to converse in Tamil or Sinhala with English is a must.
  • The ability to work in collaboration with multiple stakeholders (Internal & External)
  • Willing to travel extensively and intensively.
  • Ability to work under pressure, ability to meet short deadlines i.e. turn around work in tight deadlines.
