Responsibilities
The role involves overseeing the operation, management and overall performance of all Front Office areas and will include key responsibilities such as
As a Duty Manager, you are responsible for taking the Shangri-La hotel’s front office operation to the premier level by overseeing and leading the day to day operational efforts of the Front Office department.
Having a full and comprehensive working knowledge of all areas within the Front Office department.
Reflect the Shangri-La Hotel’s philosophy by providing highest quality of friendly service to our guests leading by example.
Driving colleagues to deliver high quality service / products and achieves high guests’ / colleagues’ satisfaction.
Increasing "brand ambassadors" among colleagues and business partners.
Constructively challenge the status quo and make suggestions accordingly.
Minimizing guest complaints, but should it occur, to take remedial action immediately.
Having a good working knowledge of OPMS and an understanding of Front Office systems and procedures.
Working closely with the Service Managers in charge of all sub departments of Front Office on exceeding guest expectations.
