BlackSwan Technologies is looking for a skilled DevOps manager to join its growing team in Sri Lanka
What you’ll do:
- Lead, train and motivate a large team of highly skilled DevOps engineers
- Build our Infrastructure and DevOps roadmap
- Recruit, build and lead a team of DevOps engineers experts running our cloud infrastructure.
- Implement tools and procedures in support of Deployment and CI/CD infrastructure
- Work with software engineers, QA automation engineers, and operations to architect solutions that increase efficiency, scale and reliability across BlackSwan architecture
- Participate in product discussions, influence the roadmap and take ownership and responsibility for new projects to make them happen
- Maintain multiple and consistent environments
- Enforce security principles and practices as needed
What you’ll need:
- 3+ years in a lead/management position
- 6+ years of experience with DevOps and cloud technologies.
- Strong expertise with AWS is required (3+ years), experience with GCP and other cloud technologies is a plus
- Experience with advanced CI/CD processes and techniques
- Experience with containerized environments and microservices (K8s / ECS)
- Experience with logging and monitoring technologies and services
- Experience with programming and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- A state of mind and approach to automate away from manual efforts
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Strong root cause analysis, debugging and troubleshooting skills
- DevOps culture and working methodology oriented person.
- Open minded, highly motivated, interested in implementing new technologies/methodologies and continuous improving of existing tools/infrastructures.
- Understanding of computer networks and networks architecture.
- Experience building automation processes using Ansible / Terraform
