DATA CENTER ASSISTANTS
The Job
• Perform Day End operations of all live systems.
• Backup and restore operations.
• Monitor ATMs and communication lines and take actions to rectify failures.
• Monitor data replication from AS/ 400 production machine to DR machine.
• Perform test EODs and attend to error correction in Test and Development machines.
• Maintain logs regarding various hardware and software errors and action taken.
• Coordinate with Other technical staff and vendors for error rectification.
The Person
• Minimum 2 years of experience in banking with a sound knowledge in IT.
• Diploma in IT from a recognized institution and experience in windows / Linux / AIX environments would be an added advantage.
• Experience in AS / 400 system operations is preferred.
