Arpico Finance Company PLC is maintaining a steadfast corporate legacy for over 69 years and licensed by the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. We are engaged in providing a wide array of financial services to the general public including Fixed Deposits, Savings Accounts and Leasing Facilities. At present we have our presence in several prime locations in the country. We are looking for a dynamic, self – motivated and career – oriented person for our Company.
Job Role:
- Analyses data to prepare accurate MIS reports and present those analytics to the Management as and when required.
- Develops and manages information to support corporate decision making
- Manages and improves existing reporting systems.
- Conducts and facilitates analyses, issues identification, organizational risk assessment, and decision-making processes.
- Provides consulting and analytic services to leadership.
- Analyzes problems and determines root causes.
- Works closely with all business units and engineering teams to develop strategy for long term data platform architecture.
The Person:
- BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets. (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
