Job Role

1. Determine security inefficiencies in the products and processes of OrangeHRM by conducting timely audits and automation
2. Support and guide the QA team to continuously improve and ensure the security of the product 
3. Guide the development team to follow the best security practices to avoid security issues at the early stages of product development
4. Design, review and implement security solutions
5. Consultation on integration security with 3rd party application and services
6. Support TechOps team to improve network, cloud and data security
7. Periodically monitor/audit production environments for vulnerabilities and suggest solutions
8. Stay abreast of the latest security best-practices and continuously improve our security implementation process
9. Educate and mentor the Development and QA teams on the security aspects associated with current and future company engagements

 
Preferred Qualifications, Experiences & Technical Skills 
 

1. Bachelor’s Degree in ComputerScience 
2. Knowledge and understanding of information security policies
3. Sound knowledge on WEB 2.0 Applications & REST API security concepts / Cross-domain web request / Protective HTTP headers
4. Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 Web and Mobile Security / CWE Top 25
5. Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms including single sign-on patterns
6. Hands-on experience in managing/maintaining PHP, JS and MySQL/MariaDB environments
7. Hands-on experience with web servers such as Apache, Nginx & IIS
8. Hands-on experience with OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite and other security scanning tools will be an added advantage
9. Knowledge of ethical hacking concepts
10. Experience with firewall administration, network troubleshooting, infrastructure security and configuration management
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
13. Impactable attention of detail
14. Ability to work with clients and team members at all levels
15. Professional certificates on Web Application Security will be an added advantage
