The Job
- Manage IDC Operations Team responsible for the installation, maintenance and operation of hardware and supporting infrastructure.
- Manage responsibility of delivering services from the Data Center, and for ensuring operational delivery through collaboration and partnership with peer divisions
- Facilitate IDC customer requests while ensuring standard operational procedures
- Review existing processes and Implement process improvements with best practices in Data Centre operations
- Ensure Operational compliance for ISO Standards (ISO 27001,14000, SLS)
- Manage periodic internal & external ISO and other Audits
- Provide timely response to all incidents, outages and performance alerts. Categorize issues for escalation to appropriate technical teams
- Take/escalate required remedial action in the event of a fault on DC critical infrastructure
The Person
- BSc Engineering Degree in Telecommunication/Electronics/IT or Certified Data Centre Management Professional (CDCMP) or Certified Date Center Professional (CDCP)
- At least 3 year work experience in similar capacity
- Ideal candidate should have Computer literacy, communication skills, knowledge of Telco industry and specially Data Center Operations
- Thorough Knowledge of ISO Standards
