We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join our Construction team in Dunedin. You will work with our widener management team and will be responsible for overall delivery of 3Waters and Civil construction projects within the region including optimising resource use and achieving target results. About The Role

Organisation is key in this role, where you are responsible for forward planning, programming coordinating resource and let’s not forget the best part – delivering high quality work to the community you live in. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with other construction/maintenance teams and you day will include but not be limited to:

  • Producing project methodology, budgets and programmes
  • Lead tenders submissions and quotations focussing on quality and healthy and safety
  • Overall responsibility for specific project implementation and delivery for 3Waters and Civil projects
  • Directing and leading the Contract Engineer and Supervisor, and their teams as well as sub-contractors

About You

You’ll need a trade background or have a tertiary qualification in engineering and you would need to have a minimum of three experience in Civil or drainage contracts. You’ll have positive leadership skills that enable others and excel in utilising your adaptable communication skills.

You will have top level Contract or Project Management skills with particular experience in 3Waters- Utilities or Construction. Combining these together and you’ll be driven, committed and hard-working. You’ll have strong time management skills and enjoy working as part of a team, Your passionate about delivering great results and comfortably communicate with other managers and field staff to deliver on time and budget.
