Suitable candidate will be assisting the Compliance manager to ensure adherence to national / international Health, Safety and Compliance standards, implement continuous improvements in this regard, whilst, fulfilling Customer Compliance requirements and organizational objectives/ policies.
- Ensure all employees are educated effectively on health and safety procedures. Ensure a Health and Safety framework is developed, implemented and audited where necessary, in order to provide for a safe work environment.
- Ensure the general maintenance of all Health and Safety equipment within the factory compound in order to make sure adherence and conformance with the safety standards.
- Conduct regular audits in order to ensure Social Compliance, Safety, Health & Environment requirements are met and adhered to within the factory.
- Facilitate the compliance of various Health and Safety Standards by coordinating with auditors and initiating action plans by liaising with other departments, ensuring continues maintenance of stipulated standards within the factory thereby, meeting organizational objectives.
- Ensure the maintenance of all Social Compliance, Safety, Health and Environment related documentation/ filing in order to facilitate the successful conduct of periodic audits with regard to Social Compliance, Safety, Health and Environment.
- Liaise with relevant institutions to monitor the changes amendments in law(s), educating relevant personnel/ employees about such changes thereby ensuring compliance with the required standards.
