Responsibilities:
- As a Cloud and Core Solution Architect (SA), you will be responsible for managing customer requirements and proposing solutions utilizing Ericsson and 3rd party products. The primary focus is to understand customers’ needs and provide superior services by creating outstanding business value for our customers through cost-effective and innovative solutions.
- The Solution Architect should be proficient in handling constant change of scope and displaying leadership with respect to Ericsson resources as well as third party suppliers and subcontractors
- You will be placed at the center of activities, entailing a high level of interaction with Product Units as well as Customer, Technical, Marketing, and Business Development teams
- You will plan, design, and deliver solutions that improve the customer network in terms of capacity, functionality, end-user services etc.

The Solution Architect will need to work across the Evolved Packet Core, HSS,PCRF portfolios along with the relevant cloud infrastructure
To be successful in the role the requirements are:
- Possess a good consultative attitude and the ability to see the bigger picture as well as attention to the details.
- The people skills required to work with engineers, systems integrators, developers and sales team in both delivery and pre-sales areas.
- You have an innovative and creative spirit and are willing to do things differently
- Have good experience in delivering end to end Solutions within Packet Core Domain and experience in related domains like HSS, PCRF will be an added advantage.
- High Technical competence in Packet Core nodes (i.e. MME, EPG, SAPC..)
- Have an understanding of Network Functions Virtualization, OpenStack, Networking and related computing infrastructure
- Virtualization Technologies (i.e. KVM, SR-IOV, DPDK, VMware, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge and experience building cloud infrastructure and virtualization, Network function virtualization related projects.
- Understand 3PP requirements and capabilities in the design and implementation phase.
- Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
- Develop technical presentations and proposals, and perform customer presentations
- Strategic mind, with the ability to span into tactical as needed.
- Experience in creating test automation
- Cloud Technologies
- Understanding OSS/BSS systems will be an added advantage
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree from an accredited university
- Minimum Years of experience: 6-8 years

Experience from work as an Integration Engineer for 2-3 years
