The Role
We are in need of a creative mind for the following opening at Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo.
As Beverage Manager, you are responsible for taking the Shangri-La brand to new luxury markets in Sri Lankan dining to make Colombo’s newest dining destination the city’s social hotspot. The role involves for monitoring and ensuring smooth operations of the beverage set-up in all restaurants and will include key responsibilities such as below.
Duties We Will Entrust You With
Assist the Executive Assistant Manager – F&B and the F&B Manager in all beverage operations.
Co-ordinate with F&B Manager/ Executive Chef / Outlet Managers on the set up, implementation and sales of all outlet promotions and menu planning.
Ensure that quality of food / beverage / service provided are consistently maintained.
Recommend improvements in all aspects of the restaurants as appropriate.
Ensure that restaurant staff are equipped with proper working environment/ tools / knowledge to enable them to be productive and efficient in their work.
Maintain regular contact with guests to obtain feedback to create future and potential clients.
Ensure that all materials, equipment and machinery are properly used and regularly cleaned in order to prolong usage.

Possess hands on experience in a similar capacity with an attitude to deliver and have exceptional knowledge of latest trends in beverages.
