Required Qualifications
A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Physics. A post graduate degree in above disciplines will be a plus
Understanding of predictive modeling, segmentation, and optimization techniques
Prior experience in applying above techniques to real problems
Fluency in Python/R or another programming language in the context of Machine Learning
At least two year experience with relational databases such as MS SQL and Oracle and good understanding of SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers etc.
Preference to those with at least two years of industry experience.
Responsibilities
Engage with businesses to understand their problems, then map business problems back to mathematical, statistical, or computational frameworks
Collaborate with other members of the team by bouncing ideas, reviewing work and sharing knowledge
Develop models and algorithms using R, Python or other suitable programming languages
Work closely and effectively with the technology teams to implement solutions
Develop visualizations and reports to bring models and algorithms
