The Role Responsibilities

Understands and supports the Corporate Affairs Strategy and Planning Process

Understands and implements media relations strategies. This includes monitoring media coverage and comments of interest to the Bank and effectively contributing to the identification of key media targets.

Effectively assists in the development and execution of Internal Communications programmes. Awareness of print production and audio techniques different Internal Communication mechanisms and techniques and the principles of change management.

Provides an effective coordination role during crisis communications which includes keepings crisis and issues procedures, systems and critical contact lists up-to-date and ensuring effective distribution stakeholder messages throughout the crisis.

Understands the role of community affairs and environmental conservation in reputation management and effectively assists in the development and execution of the community affairs initiatives.

Supports the implementation of effective CSR strategies as recommended by Country CEO / Country Management Group. Fully understands how CSR is critical to the long-term well-being of the business and understands SEE risk and its potential impact on the Bank.

Establishes useful and credible contact lists for Government and Political Affairs. This includes monitoring the political environment as well as the potential government legislation that is likely to impact negatively on the business.

 

Our Ideal Candidate

Recognised degree or equivalent professional qualification with demonstrable working experience

Ability to think outside the box and be creative

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong inter-personal skills.

Team player, planner and effective implementer

3-5 years related experience
