We are looking for Assistant Sales Maanger to be based at Srilanka
Manage, and be responsible for, within approved Company policy, the profitable sales of the Company's products and services to local retailers, in accordance with the Sales & Marketing plan.
- Identify opportunities and develop new customers through the application of selling skills in the assigned market in a professional manner & achieve the set revenue/income / collections targets.
- Develop a technical understanding of the features and benefits of the products sold by the Company.
- To plan activities so as to ensure thorough coverage of the market, maintaining regular contact and developing close relationships with client and prospects.
- Keep abreast of product developments within the industry, making recommendations as to improvement to the Company’s product range
- Maintain and develop close personal contact with Retailers / channel & end users, their key clients and prospects where necessary. Keep all customer records and information in an accurate and orderly manner.
- Develop customer focused proposals and proactively present and sell the value to the account(s) and their partners.
- Identify and resolve customer’s concerns
- Provide the Regional Managers with reports and regular feedback on competitors & their products. Provide monthly & other reports to their manager or as required.
- Process all administration and provide reports that comply with the Sarbanes Oxley Act to ensure compliance with annual audits.
- Other official duties as may be assigned.
- Monitor Competition activities, products, pricing, & Strategic Threats.
Looking for :
- Well-developed inter-personal, Selling, and Verbal /written communication skills.
- Ability to use common IT and communications technology to effectively perform. Proficiency in basic business computer software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Note, & Internet
- Willingness to travel extensively in the assigned region
Education :
- BE in Electrical
- Minimum 4 - 6 years channel sales and key account management experience, preferably within the technology or retail industries
