Assistant Engineer - Mechanical
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for Preventive and Predictive maintenance system based on the plan of Machinery and utility systems.
• Analyze machine breakdown. Give technical advices and proceed strategies to improve the efficiency of the machines.
• Designing Maintenance strategies, procedures & methods to help with installation and commissioning guidelines.
• Planning and implementation of necessary modifications, innovations to improve efficiency in the plant.
• Manage maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
• Ability to make descriptive daily and monthly reports in particular department.
• Should be a part of strong team leader in the maintenance department.
Requirements:
• NDT/ NDES, HNDE in Mechanical / Production Engineering or Equivalent qualification in recognized Institute.
• In depth experience of LP/HP Air Compressors, Ammonia Compressors, Chillers, Cool rooms, Air conditioner, AHU (Air Handling Units)/ Cooling towers, CO2 System, Generators and modern industrial application.
• Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in similar role with proven track record in manufacturing industry (FMCG Preferable).
• Proficiency in using MS Office package.
• Knowledge in AUTOCAD will be an added advantage.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and communication skills.
• Highly organized, efficient and team player.
• Able to work flexible hours and weekends when required.
