Assistant Manager - Risk and Compliance (Colombo)

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive Compliance and Operations Manuals and review and update as required.
Develop and maintain the Compliance Registers that feed into the Risk Reporting process.
Preparing risk management reports and compliance reports for the review of Risk
Management Committees.
Provide regular reports to the management and other relevant bodies detailing any current issues or information as required.
Carry out periodic compliance reviews to ensure compliance with rules and regulations issued by regulatory authorities.
Drafting new policies and procedures across the business processes of the company
Submission of statutory reports to regulatory authorities.
Manage the successful delivery of compliance projects ensuring technical excellence and a practical/business driven approach.
Applicants should possess the following;
A Degree from a recognized University or a full or part professional qualification preferably in Finance or Banking.
3 Years post qualifying experience preferably in business analysis in a reputed organization / Banking / Financial Institution at a similar capacity in handling Risk & Compliance.
Ability to liaise with regulators, knowledge on regulations relevant to the Finance Industry and understanding of Risk Management.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
Good written and spoken language proficiency and computer skills.
