Assistant Manager HR Service Delivery
Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.

 

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our HR Team in the role of Assistant Manager HR Service Delivery.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Process salaries and benefit payments for HSBC Sri Lanka and Maldives in an accurate and timely manner.              
  • Provide accurate and timely estimates for variable and guaranteed bonus, leave encashment and medical upfront.              
  • Process accurate entries on the interest apportionment of the banks Provident Fund account bi-annually.              
  • Submit necessary regulatory returns related to payroll and staff compensation on a timely manner.                      
  • Work with stakeholders to agree project/programme strategy and objectives.
  • Facilitate implementation and conscientiously track the progress of mitigating actions for risk to minimise impact on programme outcome and highlight any issues identified.                       
  • Track activities against the project plans, escalate issues and maintain project change control through change requests while considering any impact.

 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Ability to manage and monitor end to end operations and projects independently.                        
  • Strong working knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel.                  
  • Qualification in CIMA/ACCA or a Finance related qualification.                  
  • Sound analytical skills with an eye for attention to detail.                            
  • Sound experience in handling regulatory returns, accruals and prepayments.                  
  • Ability to work independently and solution oriented.                    
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
