Fabric Technology is seeking candidate for Assistant Manager position.
The Job
Your primary job role will be to handle all technical and quality related matters of fabric from the initial development stage and thereby throughout the entire process till order completion. You will ensure raw material is received in accordance to the agreed specifications by frequently interacting with the suppliers. You will be evaluating the material and will proactively resolve technical problems. Additionally, will also be accountable for colour management and testing of fabric. It is vital that you adhere to the agreed T&A’s in all these functions. Lastly, will be required to visit suppliers both locally and overseas for mill evaluations, inspections and have frequent interaction with customers and internal departments.
The Person
You should hold a Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Textile Technology with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the textile/apparel industry is a must. Working knowledge in knit fabric manufacturing will be an added advantage. You should have excellent interpersonal & leadership skills with a positive problem solving attitude.
