The Job
The overseas assignment will be on a secondment basis from fast Fashion to our newest manufacturing facility in Haiti, for a period of 1 year.
You maintain responsibility for the cutting plan to ensure order-shipment as per and timelines. You also ensure quality and timely feeding for the production and embellishment plants. You liaise with the Production Manager, Finishing Manager and other cross-functional teams to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
The Person
You hold an academic/professional qualification in garment technology and additional qualification in textile/fabric technology is desirable. A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the industry is required. You communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. You have applicable knowledge on fabric, trims and garments with various finishes. You are proactive, assertive and forward thinking. You take ownership in delivering flawless execution and driving this through your team. Prior experience in an overseas project will be an added advantage and good working knowledge of English is mandatory.
