Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for daily sales calls for corporate and domestic markets
· Schedule sales visits on an agreed and planned itinerary to existing and new corporate customers
· To builds and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
· Acquire and develop new business accounts and prepare sales proposals for clients
· Identify key markets and business opportunities in order to increase sales and maximize revenue
· Plan out special offers and promotions to increase volumes of business from the corporate sector
· Manage corporate sales enquiries and communicate all requests to the relevant departments concerned
· Responsible for Corporate and domestic market sales for the hotel
· Contribute towards achieving the business goals of the organization with regard to sales revenue and rooms nights of the Sri Lankan Market.
· Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels
Candidate Profile:
· Bachelor`s Degree in Marketing or CIM / SLIM or any acceptable marketing qualification would be an added advantage
· Minimum two years of sales and marketing experience in domestic and corporate
· Excellent PR skills
· Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
· Good knowledge in MS packages
