We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Manager Client Screening and Servicing.
In this role, you will:
- Ensure that Cross Border and Domestic payment processing is done in compliance with HSBC policies and procedures including all applicable local and international directions / guidelines
- Leading the operations team and act as a liaison between Lines of Business to ensure that customer expectation are met in line with agreed turnaround times
- Implementation and management of Regulatory directions for payment services
- Ensure appropriate risk management subject areas are embedded throughout whilst ensuring that mitigating plans are developed and actioned where risks are identified
- Driving process streamlining, digitization and transformation agenda in liaison with relevant regional and local partners
- Make sure that the customer is at the heart of everything by adopting a customer centric culture
- Meet operational risk targets in a risk and control environment and while maintaining and observing all HSBC control standards
- Timely implementation of internal and external audit recommendations
- Support in implementing the local and global strategy on Regulatory Compliance including metrics, control frameworks, skill requirements and operating models
- Ensure data quality and security controls are maintained in the end to end process including customer communication and ensure data elements captured accurately
- Establish and maintain proactive partnerships with key stakeholders, including the Businesses, Risk, Regulatory Compliance Transformation, Legal, and IT to support service and inspire change programs
- Ensure that productivity and efficiency targets are met
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Demonstrate skills to quickly grasp sophisticated processes, concepts and make strategic decisions and recommendations/actions plans across a broad range of subjects
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with complex data files
- Excellent analytical skills to assess and identify Risks and opportunities
- Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
- Project management skills
- Excellent planning, organization and time management abilities
- Ability to be flexible and lead priorities
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude and an ability to take ownership of tasks through to completion
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimum supervision
- Professional or academic qualification at graduate or post graduate level would be an added advantage
