Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and develop Design and product Strategies for Potential Business Development opportunities to generate budgeted annual sales aligned to the marketing strategies.
• Develop the seasonal Material and design calendar and managing, monitoring with the team to effectively conduct timely & accurate preparation for seasonal launches
• Conducting research into customer market space, understanding customer needs / trends in the relevant markets and Conduct and evaluate consumer profiling through the use of analytics & market data, identify consumer specific trends and need in order to define material and product solutions at best pricing
• Delivering effective creative directions to design team timely to develop concepts and designs to the generate potential business opportunities achieve target annual sales via seasonal and customer focused fabric and design collections.
• Setting the guidelines and developing both digital and physical marketing materials, product stories and presentations
• Deliver effective product and design presentation to customers during visits both internally and externally
• Collaborate with other SBUs to understand product opportunities to develop right product offering timely from Matrix to drive One MAS concept
• Delivering creative direction and recommendations to design and fabric team to develop and offer the right set of seasonal fabric collection with right price to business teams
• Make recommendations to design team to design for price and manufacturing
• Forecast and communicate the design projects capacity requirements to planning team and monitor FTT and OTP
• Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management

 
Qualifications and Experience:

• B.Des (Hons) Fashion design and product development
• 5 years or more experience in relevant field
• Design tools literacy – Adobe collection, Clo,Apex
