POST OF ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT - MATARA
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing and interpreting monthly management accounts and financial accounting statements
- Preparing Company / departmental budgets and implementing budgetary controls
- Preparation of procedure costing and service costing & advance pricing analysis
- Managing cash flows and optimizing company working capital cycle
- Liaising with auditors and all other stakeholders concerned
- Tax planning and liaising with all relevant regulatory authorities
- Cost control and cost leadership
Experience and qualifications;
Part qualification in ICASL, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
Knowledge in Sri Lanka Accounting Standards (SIAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards ( IFRS/SLFRS)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a reputed organization
A high degree of reliability, professionalism and integrity
Excellent communication skills and practical knowledge in MS office package
The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and take challenges with a positive attitude
