The Challenge
The ideal candidate is responsible to works within an Information Technology multidisciplinary team who analyses, defines, validates, designs and delivers Master Data Governance & Management solutions in close collaboration with MDM team, Business (BUs, divisions and functions) data experts and other IT teams
Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery
- Gather data governance and master data requirements in collaboration with Master Data Stewards by challenging processes, redesigning complex processes and promoting global standards and identify all impacts on business processes and current data usage.
- In contribution with IT Architecture, oversee solution design and data architecture to ensure interoperability and global standardization.
- Configure and develop MDM solutions (change requests, validation or derivation rules, configurable workflows, data replications, data quality reports, security etc.) based on best practices.
- Build technical specifications for custom requirements (workflows, UI, data model extensions, etc.).& participate with the team in planning and setting user story deliverables
- Coordinate and oversee building of test plan & scenarios for complex solution as well as the execution of integrated and user testing.
- Properly plan hand over by identifying all parties impacted, design proper operation guide and oversee training execution (when applicable).

Process Improvement
- Identify and prioritize IT process improvements & participate in Process Feedback and Process Improvement during Scrum, Gemba, Sprint Retro meetings, etc.
- Give recommendation and originate action to improve MDM related systems and our core system “Core Systems" technologies / modules / processes / by proposing new best practices with a standardization mindset.

- Develop new soft and technical skills to reinforce the ability to design various IT solutions, enlarge his/her expertise and teamwork abilities in an scrum development approach & Share his/her expertise to enhance the skills of other members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information System or any related discipline or equivalent qualification
- 10 years of experience in IT applications configuration/ development projects and experience in configuration of SAP modules
- Deep understanding of Material Master and Customer Master domain
- Experience in Financial and Vendor Master domains an asset
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Experience in a Manufacturing and Distribution environment and global exposure an asset
- Excellent spoken and written English
