This individual will be reporting to Head – Billing & Collections and be responsible for a range of tasks relating to AR & AP across the region.
 
What you will do?

• Assist in Customer invoice bookings & Vendor Invoice booking on timely basis
• Gain an understanding of Process and work towards meeting deadlines
• Manage communication with Customer, Vendors and internal cross functional teams
• Reconciliation of the Provision of Revenues / Cost on a monthly basis
• Ensure the intercompany transactions are booked on a timely basis and no differences are there at the month end
• Support and manage external Statutory Audit and Tax audit requirements, including ensuring timely resolution of audit findings and comments
• Ensure accounting records and systems are in compliance with Group policies, approved accounting standards and statutory requirements
• Ensure adequate internal controls are in place for all areas of operations
• Ensure that the business meets all Group, local statutory, local tax and business control requirements and policies
• Assist in resolving discrepancies with Reports and working with the internal team to fix the issues if any.
• Proactively identify and implement internal improvements and process changes in order to improve the quality of reporting and gain efficiencies work methodology
• Ensure proper and timely closing of month-end / year-end accounts

 
What skills and experience you will need? 

• You have minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payables environment
• Degree in Accounting or Professional Qualification
• Knowledge on Microsoft NAV, AX Dynamics, and Salesforce will be an advantage
• Expert proficiency in Excel and Power Point is required
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with varied groups to deliver result
• Pro-active approach, capable of working on own initiative
