Ceylon Theatres, a subsidiary of CT Holdings PLC, a name synonymous with the local film industry and entertainment in Sri Lanka for over 90 years, is expanding it's chain of cinemas. We are looking for dynamic pro-active and energetic individuals with a sound knowledge & experience in the field of finance.
Accountant
Your key responsibilities will include,
Responsible for managing ledger books and proactively reaching out to ensure stake holders’ satisfaction/retention while continuously hunting and closing business goals.
- Attend to day - to - day accounting activities
- Update & maintain General Ledger Accounts and keep them up to date
- Coordinate and manage the payment and billing details of external service providers
- Attend to statutory payments
- Bank and Account reconciliation
- Timely and accurate preparation of Monthly & Year End financial accounts
- Preparation of the Annual Budgets
- Preparation of Management Reports
- Liaise with External Auditors/Banks/IRD etc.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Management
Required Skills / Experience
- Age bellow 30
- Fully or Partly qualified AAT/ICASL/ACCA and or a bachelor's degree in finance / accounting from a recognized university.
- Minimum 03 - 05 years’ experience in the similar capacity.
- Should have good analytical, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision to achieve deadlines
- Excellent knowledge in MS Office and Accounting software.
