The B Sc (Hons) in Information Security degree programmes focuses on developing the skills and knowledge needed to combat the growth in computer-based crime. This is an extremely career focused course that aims to provide in depth knowledge into the field, preparing students for graduate roles in the growing cyber security sector as well as inter-personal skills required for employment in many fields, including security engineering, consultant or information security manager.
This programme effectively fuses together a number of core disciplines: security, general computing and networking, software, and ethics to provide a comprehensive and well-rounded learning experience.
Objectives
- To establish a broad foundation of knowledge and skills required for all aspects of system design and development of secure computer systems;
- To provide the opportunity to develop ingenuity, problem solving and application skills;

Entry Requirements
- GCE Advance Level (New Syllabus) – Passes for 3 subjects or
- Faced A/L with 5 credits for O/L including a Credit pass for English Language (Subjected to complete Certification Programme for Bachelor's degree)
