1. The type of tie
Select the tie that fits best with your attire. It should be conservative. There is a wide range of choices available for selecting the ties. You should begin with questioning yourself:
Will a Regular Tie suit the job role or a Skinny Tie?
Do I want to wear a solid color or a patterned tie?
Avoid ties with pictures!
• A striped tie specifies power and sophistication.
• Geometric patterns reflect creativity.
• A solid color indicates style and a contemporary appearance.

2. Pick the right length of your tie.
Hand-pick the Fabric for your tie. Silk ties are expensive but the most suitable fabric for a job interview. Quality matters.

3. Select the most appealing color for your tie.  
Just as patterns create an impression, colors are a critical decision too. Dark colors are powerful but too mainstream whilst bright colors replicates creativity.

How to Tie a Tie?
 
FOUR IN HAND KNOW
1. Start with the wide end of your tie on your right, and extend it about 10 inches below the narrow end. Cross the wide end over the narrow end.
Now cross the wide end below the narrow end from right to left.
2. Repeat the second step one more time.
3. Pull the wide end under and through the loop between the tie and the collar of your shirt.
4. Hold the knot steady and slide down the wide end of the knot.
5. Pull the tie, down. Center the dimple and tighten it.
